On Sunday, April 7, 2019, we celebrated the baptisms of twenty-six people at Wildwood Community Church! Before these baptisms, I shared a brief reflection from Galatians 2:20-21. Below you will find a set of questions related to this message for personal reflection or group discussion.
Sermon Questions:
- Pray
- Read Galatians 2:20-21
- Is there something or someone OUTSIDE YOURSELF that you draw your identity from? (i.e. your vocation, your role, your family, your faith, etc.)
- In Galatians 2:20-21, we are called to find our identity with Jesus Christ – His death and His resurrection life. What does it mean that we are “crucified with Christ”?
- What does it mean that “Christ lives in me”?
- What are some areas where God is calling you to live by faith in Him today? (i.e. are there any areas where you think you know more or better than God?)
- Have you been baptized with water since trusting Jesus as your Savior? If not, why not? Wildwood’s next baptisms services are August 4. Let us know if you would like to be baptized then!
- What is one particular application you took away from this message?
