It has been a couple of months since we provided an update on Kimberly’s health. For this month’s update, I’ll let our son Josh share with you the news …

Almost exactly a year ago, our lives began to shift a little. My mom started to have health concerns and symptoms that eventually turned into a lung cancer diagnosis. Our life changed, but God remains the same. Through the cycles of chemo, radiation appointments, daily medication, and natural uncertainty, He is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. My mom has gone through a lot this past year and I’m proud of her strength, but in reality her strength comes from the Lord and nowhere else. We have been trusting that God’s plan is best and praying that a part of that is healing and PRAISE GOD IT IS! The cancer is stable to the point that my mom is DONE WITH CHEMO!
This doesn’t mean that the cancer is gone, as it possibly never will be, but outside of daily medication there’s nothing more that needs to be done! We are trusting God and praising Him as we enter into a new normal, knowing that whatever God’s will is, it will be done and no matter the result we can trust in Him and glorify Him! I love you mom
